Student Accommodation
In the first phase of this project, we delivered over 800 student beds alongside new teaching spaces, and a social and fitness centre at The University of Brighton’s Moulsecoomb Campus.
The University of Brighton procured and appointed Uliving to design, build, finance and deliver the campus transformation, which lies two miles north of Brighton. The project, which began in 2018, consists of five high-rise towers boasting 804 student bedrooms, new teaching and learning spaces, and exceptional amenities and facilities including study areas, games rooms, a campus gym and a student union open to all University of Brighton students.

Uliving undertook and is managing the required development scope and responsibilities for the implementation of the project, developing further stages of the design including helping the University of Brighton to secure, at tender stage, planning consent for a whole masterplan transforming Moulsecoomb campus.
We also managed community engagement with the project and liaised with stakeholders and put in place an innovative and viable funding solution. Not only that but we were able to start work and deliver the completed scheme on a site which was set within a live university teaching environment, a vibrant city location and alongside other sites under construction.
