Managing DirectorAs Managing Director, Phillippa oversees our strategic direction to ensure the delivery of our pipeline.
A qualified chartered surveyor, she has worked and led teams in the real estate sector for over two decades; delivering projects within the residential, industrial, leisure, student, office, and mixed-use sectors.
In her role at Linkcity, she draws upon her experience in acquiring, financing, and exiting multi-million-pound schemes to give her an insight into both the trends and the challenges facing the industry.
Oliver Campbell
CEO UlivingOliver Campbell
CEO UlivingOliver is a Development Director at Linkcity and was appointed CEO for Uliving, our student accommodation business, in 2019.
As Development Director of Linkcity, Oliver has built our Private Rented Sector (PRS) business leading development projects such as the 134-unit PRS tower (“Argo”) at Linkcity’s Hallsville Quarter regeneration in Canning Town; the 236-unit PRS and affordable Pontoon Dock development in London; and the 375-unit PRS and affordable Castle Park View scheme in Bristol. Building on his experience in the build-to-rent sector, Oliver works with colleagues and investors to optimise the design, commercial structure, and economics of PRS projects. Separately, in 2021 Oliver led the design and planning team which secured planning permission for the new extension to the Evelina London Children’s Hospital on the St Thomas’ campus opposite the Houses of Parliament.
As CEO of Uliving, Oliver oversees the development of our on-campus projects with university partners under project finance structures (DBFO), recently leading the financial close of the 1,262-bed third phase at the University of Essex. He is also in charge of our direct-let initiatives both at development and operational stages, with seats on the boards of our projects in Birmingham and Canterbury.
Prior to joining Linkcity in 2012, Oliver spent 10 years working in the City and is a graduate of the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, and Harvard.
Amanda Child

Legal directorAs Head of Legal for Linkcity, Amanda leads a team responsible for supporting the securing, structuring, and delivering of Linkcity’s development pipeline as well as working to manage projects throughout delivery, to practical completion and beyond.
Amanda has 20 years’ experience in property development, covering environmental, planning, property, construction and corporate project requirements. Since joining the business in 2012, Amanda has successfully helped deliver a number of Linkcity mixed-use development and regeneration projects, including our flagship Hallsville Quarter. This £600m GDV multi-phased development is delivering a new town centre for Canning Town including retail, leisure, health and hotel uses demonstrating the flexibility of the Linkcity model in realising exemplar place making led development ambitions.
Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in law and is a qualified solicitor.

Operations directorAs Operations Director for Linkcity, Simon oversees our in-house team who run the delivery of all Linkcity and Uliving projects. Simon also manages the assets where Linkcity remains the superior leaseholder.
Simon joined Linkcity in 2018 as Development Director for our multi-phase flagship development Hallsville Quarter and since then has been critical in ensuring the successful delivery of all Linkcity projects.
Simon is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a master’s degree in Project Management from Reading University.
