Axel has been leading the team since 2020. His career at Linkcity has spanned regional and residential development, as well as the student accommodation sector when working as CEO of ULiving. With more than 25 years’ experience in the built environment, Axel has extensive experience negotiating, developing, and delivering high-profile multi-stakeholder projects.

Collaborating closely with all the entities of Bouygues in the UK, Axel develops strong relationships with like-minded public and private sector partners and investors through co-development and joint venture structures. 

Axel has a Degree in Finance, Business and Economics and undertook a Master’s in Construction Law and Arbitration at King’s College London whilst working in the UK.

Oliver is a Development Director at Linkcity and was appointed CEO for Uliving, our student accommodation business, in 2019.

As Development Director of Linkcity, Oliver has built our Private Rented Sector (PRS) business leading development projects such as the 134-unit PRS tower (“Argo”) at Linkcity’s Hallsville Quarter regeneration in Canning Town; the 236-unit PRS and affordable Pontoon Dock development in London; and the 375-unit PRS and affordable Castle Park View scheme in Bristol. Building on his experience in the build-to-rent sector, Oliver works with colleagues and investors to optimise the design, commercial structure, and economics of PRS projects. Separately, in 2021 Oliver led the design and planning team which secured planning permission for the new extension to the Evelina London Children’s Hospital on the St Thomas’ campus opposite the Houses of Parliament.

As CEO of Uliving, Oliver oversees the development of our on-campus projects with university partners under project finance structures (DBFO), recently leading the financial close of the 1,262-bed third phase at the University of Essex. He is also in charge of our direct-let initiatives both at development and operational stages, with seats on the boards of our projects in Birmingham and Canterbury.

Prior to joining Linkcity in 2012, Oliver spent 10 years working in the City and is a graduate of the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, and Harvard.

Jim Atkinson

Since joining the business in 2011, Jim has successfully delivered high profile London based residential and mixed-use schemes, helping to establish Linkcity as a partner of choice for complex multi stakeholder development projects.

Jim is responsible for leading residential development and has an in-depth understanding of how to shape transactions across the tenure types and with public and private sector partners alike. In addition to his duties at Linkcity, he is a Board member of our Joint-Venture with Westminster City Council focussed on the redevelopment of inner city sites to accelerate the delivery of mixed tenure housing within the borough.

Jim is a Chartered Surveyor, holds a degree in Law and a masters in Real Estate. He is a Non-Executive Director of The Quintin Hogg Trust, an active member of the Westminster Property Association and a keen supporter of the Reading Real Estate Foundation.

Tom Jackson

As Linkcity’s director responsible for urban regeneration, Tom’s focus is on mixed use development projects across London and the South East with a particular emphasis on working in partnership with the public sector.  He leads the team responsible for identifying, securing, structuring and driving forward the company’s projects in this sector.

Tom has 20 years’ experience of property development in both public and private sectors.  Since joining Linkcity in 2012 he has successfully delivered a number of regeneration projects, working closely with partners such as the London Boroughs of Newham, Brent and Hounslow, Canterbury City Council and the GLA. 

Tom has a bachelor’s degree in Land Economy and a master’s in City & Regional Planning and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Having joined the Group in 2007, Guy spent the first 13 years of his Bouygues career in Bouygues Energies & Services before moving across as HR Director for Bouygues UK and Linkcity from October 2020.

As HR Director, Guy heads up the Human Resources function within Linkcity managing the operational HR Team responsible for supporting employees, Managers and Directors with all people related matters. Guy is responsible for developing and implementing the HR Strategy / People Agenda in line with the Business priorities. 

Guy holds a Masters Degree in Human Resources and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

As Head of Legal for Linkcity, Amanda leads a team responsible for supporting the securing, structuring, and delivering of Linkcity’s development pipeline as well as working to manage projects throughout delivery, to practical completion and beyond.

Amanda has 20 years’ experience in property development, covering environmental, planning, property, construction and corporate project requirements. Since joining the business in 2012, Amanda has successfully helped deliver a number of Linkcity mixed-use development and regeneration projects, including our flagship Hallsville Quarter. This £600m GDV multi-phased development is delivering a new town centre for Canning Town including retail, leisure, health and hotel uses demonstrating the flexibility of the Linkcity model in realising exemplar place making led development ambitions.

Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in law and is a qualified solicitor.
