Construction of the second phase of Hallsville Quarter, our major regeneration project creating a new district centre for Canning Town, started in early 2015.

Phase 2 provides a gateway for the development, including the beginning of the new pedestrianised high street which runs down the spine of the entire development area. Shops, cafés, restaurants and a 196-bedroom ibis hotel will animate and bring life to the space, while landmark residential towers will provide 349 private rented, private for sale, and affordable shared ownership homes.

Additional public spaces, secure car parking for around 300 cars and facilities for cyclists will also be included.

At the heart of the residential scheme for Phases 1 and 2 is the courtyard garden of 70,000 sq ft with secure bicycle parking. Phase 2 houses the masterplan’s tallest buildings, forming a cluster with the adjacent Vermillion tower on Barking Road. The Phase 2 residential towers will frame the entrance to the new High Street and act a sign post to the overall development.

Underground car parking will also be provided for residential and commercial use.
